Trip Summary

Today was day #2 with the 3 retired Game Wardens from PA and we put the HAMMER down on 25+ XL Catfish on Lake Wylie. Needless to say the bite was on fire and we boated a ton of fish in the 15-30 lb range today, along with a boatload of perch. Days like today only come around once in a while, so you have to enjoy this kind of pre-spawn bite for the BIG Blue Cat Fish.

Another great morning fishing with the Carolina Angler. Started out crappie fishing and boated some slabs, moved to perch and caught a bunch for bait and then moved on to the Big Catfish. Boated several XL Pre-spawn Blue Cat Fish to wrap up a short 4 hour trip this morning.

We had a short 4 hour trip this morning and put a cooler full of Lake Wylie Crappie and perch in the boat. After getting a limit of crappie, we moved on to a big school of white perch and caught em 2X until we got our quota.

275 LB CAT FISH MORNING-BITE is ON FIRE

The Catfish bite was on fire this morning, as we put over 20 Large Blue Catfish in the boat this morning. These were HUGE pre-spawn fish, we numerous fish over 20-25 lbs boated this morning. One of the BEST bites of the year for LARGE Cat Fish on Lake Wylie. ALL fish were "released" to finish up their spawn.
