Trip Summary
On June 20, we departed Cabo San Lucas running a heading of 120°, targeting yellowfin tuna offshore.
While working our way toward the tuna grounds, at approximately 13 miles offshore, the action exploded with an exciting double marlin hookup. One striped marlin struck a Petrolero lure, while the second attacked a green and yellow trolling lure. After two exciting battles, both fish were successfully brought alongside the boat and released healthy.
We continued searching for yellowfin tuna throughout the day, covering several productive spots and reefs, but unfortunately were unable to locate an active tuna bite.
Later, upon reaching the 95 Spot, another striped marlin took a live bait, resulting in our third successful marlin catch of the trip. After a solid fight, the fish was safely released.
