We had a few local guys what to try their luck on a swordfish. October moon is usually a great time to target these gladiators of the sea. Unfortunately we couldn’t hook one but we managed to few bites. We decided to grab some fish for dinner on the way home. Barrel fish and Rosie’s were thick on the bottom with action as soon as it got to the bottom. We made it back with a cooler full of these delicious fish and some happy customers. Barrel fish are an excellent table fair, if you have never tried them they are like a grouper with beautiful white flaky meat.
