YOU WILL NEVER FORGET YOUR FIRST BILLFISH! Fanatic Anglers Keith & Dominic are joining us this week from Devon, England for some fishing in Costa Rica. It is great to have the guys here with us & we have got off to a good start on the fishing front! Day 1 - Aboard Inshore Boat Chloe Frijole 3 Mangrove Snappers 1 Cubera Snapper 1 Yellow Tail Snapper 1 Catfish 1 small Grouper Keith lost his Bucket List Roosterfish boatside but we hope to have some revenge as the week progresses! Day 2 - Offshore aboard 31’ GOOD DAY We fished 30 miles Offshore and released 4 Sailfish from 9 Sails raised with both of the guys catching two Sailfish each, their first ever Billfish, GREAT DAY! Day 3 - Offshore Species fest! We caught a ton of species Today which brought the guys species tally to 20 species after 3 days Fishing. Catch tally for the day: 1 Sailfish 1 Pompano 1 Jack 1 Tuna Mackerel 3 Species of Grouper 2 Species of Split Tail Bass Devil Fish Tilefish Lizardfish Grunts Bonitos We will be Fly Fishing for Billfish tomorrow for day 4, wish us luck!
