We had Tom with his best friend and son out for some big fish! They where not interested in any eating fish just hard pulling great fighting fish! We started the afternoon targeting Tom’s long sought after permit. We hooked a monster which peeled a couple hundred yards or a Shimano 25000 Saragusa. Tom fought the fish perfectly for the first 15 minutes some fatigue set in and a little slack in thee line is all it took to lose the fish 60 to 70 feet boatside..Made a few more drifts with no cooperation and started the bottom hunt. We boat some nice fish which were all released and headed back with sore arms. That permit and many more are still there. 10 plus foot sharks are everywhere with big tarpon showing up. Here it comes!
