Had a tarpon and jack smash fest today!!!!! I went out early to get bait and do some scouting and ran into a giant school of tarpon. In 15 min I hooked 2 and left to get my clients. We came back an hour later and jumped 10 tarpon in 2 hours. We landed 5 and missed another 6-7. We had 15+ bites in 2 hours by far the best tarpon day I have had. The biggest was in the 130# range and most were around 60#. unfortunately I was only able to get a pic of the baby one. After they slowed down we went and caught 15-20 big jacks in the last hour. Had 3 triples and a bunch of doubles. They are wore out!!!!! Can’t wait for tomorrow’s trip!!!!
