Calico and Sand Bass are staring to spawn and feed. We have had some great days with wide open bites -hours of non-stop catching! On the other hand, we have had some tough charters as well. Spring fishing is unpredictable, and every day is completely different. Some days are great and some days, the fish do not want to bite. This last week we caught a big 36 inch Halibut, barracuda, bass, sculpin, white fish, white sea bass, sand dabs, white croaker and mackerel. We aim to have a great time on the water on every trip looking to show off our beautiful coastline, whales, dolphins, birds, sea lions, and seals.

A bunch of Calico Bass, 40 lb Black Sea Bass-released successfully and a nice Mako Shark today on a 3 hour charter! 3 high school young men and the birthday boys dad. Beginners lit it up...lots of high fives. The bass wore them out trading off the pole- the tug is the drug!

80-200 Bluefin Tuna and 25-70 pound Yellowfin Tuna have been swarming our local front yard for weeks. They have come as close as 2 miles out and have been abundant 7- 14 mikes out. Their is a possibility to land these fish on a short trip if they are close- ever day is different. Our 5 hour trips give us a better chance- we can cover more ground. The fish are boiling in hudge schools some days, smaller wolf packs up and down on others and of course ..well...some days scarce or none to be seen. You gotta find them, get them to bit then the real challenge..get them to the boat!
