Trip Summary
This week's weather has made our fishing trips very challenging. Lots of wind, unpredictable rain and slow fishing all around the bay. We managed to catch a couple of fish, but it was slow overall. Today, Sunday March 13th, the Snook bite was ON! We caught and released two monster Snook today. A 20+ pounder on the morning and a 15 pounder on Fly Rod. Our customer from Finland did an excellent job at the fly rod today with 15+ knot winds he managed to catch and release 2 snooks and a jack.
Weather is getting better during the week and hopefully the bite keeps improving. This sunday's bite was a good indicator that fishing should be getting better next week!
Great work today from Capt. Luis and Capt. Kevin and of course our customers who are the ones that do the hard job fighting the fish!
