Trip Summary

We are off to an incredible start to the 2020 fishing season. With the addition of targeting B.C Spot Prawns to our Winter bounty costumers are experiencing great hauls. Including, Prawns, Chinook Salmon and Dungeness Crab. Contact me to experience what the Comox Valley has to offer this time of year. March is the month of the Herring migration to the Salish Sea bringing with it schools of feeding Chinook Salmon and an abundance of wildlife. Most Valuable Fishing Experience Of The Year We only offer fishing for B.C Spot Prawns and Dungeness Crab between October - April. Fishing for Chinook Salmon is as good as our peak season months. Our Winter Rates are a flat rate for the boat. On average 6 - 7 hours and depart around 8:30 and arrive approximately 3:30. Both boats have a heated cabin and private restrooms with flush toilets. We experience consistent fishing year round but see peak bookings May - October. We are often fully booked come July and August. Latest Update For Island Pursuit Sport Fishing Spring has sprung and it seems we are getting out of the grasp of the Covid-19 pandemic. During the last couple months we had to halt sport fishing operations to join the effort in stopping transmission of the virus. Fortunately I was able to pick up some work with my off-season commercial fishing job. On Wednesday May 6th, the B.C government announced their official phase in plan. We will be able to restart local operations May 15th. Reports from people personal fishing have been fantastic and we can't wait to begin again. This week I will be focusing on getting my boat in the water and creating new crew and guest protection procedures. Fishing Charters With Covid-19 Safety Measures Steps we will be taking to provide the safest and best service on the coast! ▪ All charters are private groups of 1-5 people ▪ All surfaces and handled fishing equipment will be regularly sanitized ▪ Hand sanitizer will be provided ▪ All spaces are free airflow and outdoors ▪ Air high-5's will be encouraged! Extended Savings Since fuel price have dropped for the time being I will be passing the savings on to you! Locals looking to come out and enjoy some of the great weather, eased social restrictions and excellent fishing can take advantage. I will be extending my Winter rates until June. May 14th - May 31: 7 - 8 hrs of fishing $650 Regular $950! We look forward accommodating you in 2020 following new safety guidelines. I hope everyone is doing well, living with health and happiness.
