Trip Summary

This last Week here on the outer banks has been rough with big swells and ocean over wash . Before the blow fishing was excellent with big catches of false albacores, ribbon fish and Spanish mackerel. We also landed some king mackerel and trigger fish and sea bass while drifting a week. Once the ocean settles down for a few days the fishing will pick up. October can be red hot with some pretty weather. Lets roll!!

Heres a few pictures from this past season. Time period would be from May-July. Red drum, sharks, Spanish Mackerel, bluefish, sea bass ,triggerfish are common catches throughout the summer. All are very good on the table. Thanks Devin

Summer is coming even though it doesn’t seem like it right now on the outer banks if NC . All of my charter trips are Ocean side and I operate out of the closest marina to the ocean, Oregon Inlet Fishing Center. Only a 10 minute boat ride to be in the inlet entering the ocean. I start my season on April 1 so i thought I’d post some photos from April 2025. Great April last season! Bluefish in all shapes and sizes, fish to 10lbs. A few red drum, like usual every now and then. Plenty of small coastal sharks thefirst 2 weeks. Bottom fish on the wrecks sea bass and scup. And last year the big black drum made an appearance the last week and was good action on fishto 50lbs. 4 hour trips and 6 hour trips are the way to go in April .
