Trip Summary

Once that pollen showed up, the fish did too. This is one of the best years I’ve seen. The past closures of snook trout and redfish have had great results, allowing our prized inshore slam species to multiply like roaches. We are also seeing good numbers of sharks and cobia, as well as all other game fish. Snapper, triple tail, black drum, and cobia are the grocery species right now. Needless to say, the fishing is great right now. I’d be hungry too if I sat still all winter.
