We did a quick half day inshore trip today aboard GOOD DAY. We set out 14 miles in search of some Mahi but could not find much in the way of current breaks/debris so we switched gears and headed to the rocks to fish for Roosters. The next few months is the best time of year to catch a big Rooster here and we have caught some monsters at our local rock marks at this time of year. There have been some big swells the past few days, the water clarity looked pretty good but despite best efforts we could not find a Rooster. We managed to catch 3 Mackerel, 1 Jack & 1 Needlefish and our guys from Texas & Louisiana enjoyed their time on the water despite the slow fishing.
