Fall fishing hopefully starting

Trip Summary

Morning started off on fire! First fish was a 20-30 pound Barracuda which we released. As soon as the line went back in the water we hooked up again to a fish we never clearly identified as it broke off less then 30’ from the boat snapping 100 pound test. Our best guess because of its behavior was a monster King Mackerel. Got all lines back in water and hooked up to a monster 30 pound Bonito, followed the birds and hooked up again this time to a 45 pound Bull Mahi Mahi. Left that area as we were only out scouting the area and worked for a short time in another area approx 4 miles from where we had the insane bite and hooked a nice 20 pound King Mackerel for the smoker. We called it a day at Noon and headed back to the dock. Hopefully this bite continues producing quality fish. 3 fish kept and over 100 pounds to the dock.
