Trip Summary

Full day fishing trip allows you the opportunity to catch a lot of different fish all great eating. Rockcod we are fishing in 300' of water and the bass,sheephead and Sculpin are caught in 60' of water on 10 pound test line.

We left the dock at 8:00 AM to buy some live bait. Then traveled for about 45 minutes to the fishing spot. We anchored up and started fishing. After 3 hours of non stop catching we had caught and released 33 fishing and kept 6 for 2 family dinners.

Leaving at 9:00 AM first stop the bait dock. Pick up some nice anchovies for bait. Then 45 minute cruise up to eds to be 2the fishing grounds for Bass. The daughter caught a Halibut 21”. but they need to be 22” to keep. In 2 hours we caught 30 Calico Bass some only 1/2” short. We kept one fish to eat.

Left the dock at 7:15 AM to pickup bait and off to the Rockcod grounds. Within 2 hours had limits for everyone Then trolled for a Mako Shark out to 6 miles. No Mako but did see a Minke Whale. Then inshore to fish for Two Kinds of Bass and some Tree Fish Fun Day for all
