Trip Summary

It was another warm week here in Maryland for this time of year and the bay water temp remained in the mid to low 70’s. With the recent rain, wind and lower day time and night temps I expect the next two weeks to make for even better fall fishing especially once the water drops in to the 60’s. I took a group of four young ladies fishing this past Saturday as they had entered a local charity fishing tournament. The conditions were horrible with 10-20 mph winds. I asked the ladies to cancel but they insisted on going. We caught fish all through the day on jerk baits and soft plastic jigs. Their better fish came on shallow water structure. We also found a rather large school of fish under birds in deeper water. Im also happy to report the ladies placed second in the womens division of their tournament. I have one weekend left with openings in October and a few weekday spots left as well. If you’re wanting to fish, dont wait to book as fall fishing is very good right now and my remaining October dates will go fast. Tight lines and good fishing. Captain Ron
