Trip Summary
Yesterday we did an offshore trip aboard GOOD DAY with Mark & his son Arthur from North Carolina. It was Marks 3rd time to fish aboard GOOD DAY & great to see him back in Costa Rica. We caught a few live baits & then headed offshore to the 'twenty six' where we lost a nice Black Marlin a few days ago.
There were plenty of fish about to keep us busy and we caught:
4 Jacks
2 Rainbow Runners
1 Mackerel Tuna
We lost a BIG Mahi which came into our spread like a Torpedo & also seen 5 big Wahoo swim right under the boat but they would not eat the live baits we had out unfortunately.
Reports of a lot of Yellow fin Tuna a bit further offshore with one 90 pounder and lots of 40-50s caught. There were several Sailfish and a Blue Marlin released yesterday also.
Can't wait to head back out there tomorrow!
