Trip Summary

Fishing the Niagara bar in lake Ontario for lake trout on December 5th 2021 East winds caused the lake to be a little choppy but definitely manageable. Jig fishing was definitely the hot ticket today also picked up a few bass and a bonus walleye

Heavy west winds, but the fishing was incredible. Water color was a chalky green, and the water temperature was 48.6 degrees. Plenty of steelhead, lake trout, and brown trout . Bead bite is all we needed to crush fish today.
