John & Brenda (TEAM REELER!) were just fantastic company for today’s event, the Dorado Derby Dos here at Marina Pez Vela in Costa Rica. We didn’t catch the winning Dorado but we had a great time out there and gave it our best shot catching: 1 Blue Marlin 1 Sailfish 4 Dorado up to 21lb John just loved catching the Marlin on 30lb class tackle with the ultra light Accurate Fishing Valient 600 reel. You should have seen his smile when we got the release! 36 boats took part today & 43lbs was the largest Dorado, caught by boat HATTA DREAM, huge congrats guys! Just an excellent couple of weeks for the Dorado tournaments and looking forward to the next tournaments happening here soon!
