The two Alex’s from Russia are joining us for 2 days fishing this week & we got off to a flyer yesterday when we hooked a double header Blue Marlin in the first hour of the trip…..What a dream start! We released 1 Marlin on the 50lb pitch bait set up which was around 180lb & unfortunately the other fish broke the leader after 15-20 minutes. Just an epic experience for the guys & congrats to Alex on his first ever Marlin! ? Quickly after we caught a 25lb Dorado which Alex was over the moon with & then Capt. Manuel Gabuardi gave me a whistle with a smile on his face and there was a group of Tuna out front. They were small fish but the guys enjoyed catching them on light tackle.
