INSHORE FISHING COSTA RICA Another great day on the water aboard GOOD DAY today fishing here at the Marina Pez Vela Costa Rica. After enjoying some good Dorado fishing a couple of days back during their 1st day, Andy & Tommy had their sights set on some Roosterfish during today’s trip. Livebait was hard to come by in the morning, but our perseverance paid off and we we had a good mixture of Sardines, Lookdowns & Blue Runners in the Livewell. We fished a series of River Mouths plus some great sections of rocks and reefs. The guys were delighted to catch their first ever Roosterfish, the fish of the day was a stunning 50” fish followed by Roosters of 41”, 35” & 34”. Some hard fighting Jacks, a small Cubera Snapper & a Catfish were also added to the tally. We fished hard & put the time in to try and catch a Snook to complete an Inshore Grand Slam but it was not to be today. The guys will be back for their 3rd & final day on Thursday when we’ll be searching for Tuna & Marlin Offshore.
