May hybrid fishing has arrived and it has been on from the word go! Every tactic has been working, swim baits, jigging bottom as well as live bait. These fish are pissed off and fighting hard. You do not want to miss out on this! We like to call it somewhere between controlled chaos and the train falling off the tracks.

We have been busy over the course of thelast week. There has been plenty pole bending and drag stripping to go around! The hybrid bite has been phenomenal in the evenings and we have had sucess on live bait, jigging spoons as well as casting swim baits. The next 2.5 months are some of the best fishing of the year and there can be times of chaos with every rod in the boat hooked up. Don’t miss out!

We have been dead sticking white bass and hybrid striper at Lake Lewisville and Lake Texoma for almost a month now. The bite might be light but don’t miss the oppurtunity to set the hook at any nudge,bump, pull or tickle! Drag peeling will commence shortly after, keep at it and before we know it the cooler will be full! Fishing is great right now and this pattern will be consistent through March.
