Trip Summary

Been a couple of really busy days and just now getting a chance to post. Friday there was a decent Mahi bite offshore and numerous Sailfish that just didn’t want to commit to taking the hook. Saturday Mahi were present and some really nice fish but you really had to hunt for them. Sunday was rough as can be, however we ventured out knowing there wouldn’t be many boats out. First fish of the day a MONSTER King Mackerel while attempting to make it further offshore after hitting 80’ we determined it was too rough to venture much further so we went back inside and found an insane King Mackerel bite with quickly getting a 2 person limit with multiple double hook ups. Wind died down and we made a quick run out to the deep where we almost instantly hooked up to double Mahi, lost 1 got 1, as soon as lines were set back out another double and with as fast as the wind gave us a break it came back and built seas back up with shorter intervals. Headed back inside and missed a Sailfish and caught another Mahi. Mahi were all over the place if you were in the right spot. Ended up with a nice catch for the day and made it safely back to the dock.
