Another simply amazing day on the water this past Friday as Tim, Beth, Spryng & Erik joined us aboard GOOD DAY. Our buddy Erik had not stepped foot aboard GOOD DAY since 2017 when he was part of our winning team in the Pelagic Rockstar tournament, so great to have him back again. Our mission for the day was to try & catch Tim his first Marlin, Beth her first Billfish and have a ton of fun in the process. Safe to say, mission was accomplished with Tim & Beth both catching their first ever Marlin which we tagged & released for Gray FishTag Research est. 180lb & 140lbs. It proved to be an eventful day with no fewer than 6 blue Marlin raised, 5 of which we hooked but were unlucky to lose 3 of them as they threw the hooks, getting 2 Marlin to the boat. Huge congrats to Tim & Beth, who with their customary 1st Marlin swim in 2000 feet of water! What a day, with amazing company & what a great couple of months Marlin fishing we have enjoyed!!
