I had Jason, Mike, Allen and Caleb on board the 24ft Avenger with me for a fantastic day of catching and releasing! They flew in for the end of Mardi Gras week and fished with me on their last day before heading home to Wyoming! We threw corks, and an assortment of artificial Lures and caught several different species of fish. The tide was low so we concentrated on the deeper bayous with good drains from ponds and such. We were picking off fish that were ambushing bait coming out of the small drains.
