SATELITE TAGGING ROOSTERFISH & A TOURNAMENT WIN! Another great fishing tournament in the books this weekend & a huge thank you to Marina Pez Vela for putting on the 2022 Roosterfish Rodeo, which is part of our fun 1 day low entry cost tournament series. We were delighted for GOOD DAY with team Gray FishTag Research to scoop first place with 7 Roosterfish. Amazing job by our team Christian Bolaños Day Oe Katherine Lara Bill Dobbelaer & the legendary Capt. Manuel Gabuardi As well as competing in the tournament we had a HUGE task to undertake yesterday also and that was to tag a Trophy sized Roosterfish with a Satélite tag as part of the ongoing Roosterfish study that we have been undertaking with Gray Fishtag Research. We are delighted that we were successful in the tag deployment in a stunning 40” Roosterfish & cannot wait to see what data we get back in the months to come & where the fish travels to.
