Weather was like it has been for the last weeks- that's New England for you. Left the dock with Tom and the gang for a morning Haddock adventure sea were choppy no big deal. Made our first stop hooked up quite quickly a big cod back it went. Haddock were small but we got a few nice cusk. Made the move and the bigg haddock showed up. 23-24= inches. wind came up and had to anchor bite was slow but steady . Time to go but had nice fish aboard and all had a great time. Again Toms wife baked us chocolate chip cookies has she always does-- YUM Thank You

Fishing has been very good. Yesterday we had a bass blitz. A giant school of big stripers were off Gloucester . We took advantage of it. We were using live and chunk no matter. Bass were hungry. We caught many big bass most over the slot. The crew didn't want to keep any, that was fine. Had one fish that we got a look at before the hook pulled was a jumbo. Mackerel fishing is also been good, when you get on them plenty to be had. Haddock are plentiful and reasonably close to shore. Plenty of keepers in the 21-24 inch class. Delicious. Had a cod come up with a big porbeagle shark behind it!!!! Aeesome sight to see. Tuna also has been good with a reasonable number of rec fish available a really good number. Trip started normally - went through the boat safety talk. The guy were a riot. Off to the tuna grounds half eay we see the eayer boiling .we stop Just amazing, eater is slive with fish Set out yhe bait rogs instant hook up 3 rods 3 macs at a time . Had plenty of bait in 5inutes. Bait fishing is really crazy fun. Off again on the horizon whale blows then splashing fish omg! Few boats around we set up Drop three lines out Whales next to the boat,boils of fish, crill everywhere. Line goes tight we are on. Fish circles deep the guys do s great job. Fish come a little green but right at the stern close . Capt put a harpoon in it ,pulls it in on goes the tail rope . Nice rec fish about 200lbs Cool it down in the boat .!!!!!!!! On ice it goes . Back to fishing. Hour later rod goes off fight is on. Hook pulls??? Back to fishing. Ahain snout sn hour rod hors off again!!!!? The guy do s great job. After about 30 minutes bring the fish in looks too big to keep quick measure too big. We swim it releasd in good shape with a tag We hook up again. This time a double the fish get twisted together lines got cut by each other. What fun. Mever saw a the likes of a great trip like today Ps they caught 11 big haddock ehile bait fishing!!!!
