Trip Summary

With a strong, sustained Southwest wind blowing out warm water and bringing in cold water, flounder fishing became an exercise biology—knowledge of our surrounding saltwater environment. Using fish science, we located warm water. We also looked for clear water. Upon finding both, we dropped lines. Our rigs (important, too) took advantage of schooling baitfish. Timing, in regards to feeding schedules, was spot on. The end result was lots of fish being caught. It pays to know the science. ??
