Trip Summary

I took out two guys from Virginia for a full day offshore fishing trip and we started the day trolling about a mile offshore with lures and natural bait. We hooked a double header sailfish and landed both fish at the same time. After that we headed 8 miles offshore and found a nice school of dolphin or mahi mahi under a piece of floating bamboo. We were able to catch 9 of them before they stopped biting. After that we headed back to a shipwreck about a mile offshore and used a butterfly jig to catch an amberjack and a tuna. It was a perfect full day trip!
