Another week or so has gone by and the fishing has gotten even better. Went up after bass and the catch was excellent, plenty of keepers and just short fish. The bass are fatting up thinking of a long swim south. Decided to try for some blues. Nothing fights harder or longer than a bluefish. We had super success- 24+ pound blue another 21+pound giants. WHAT FIGHTERS. Slipped a little off shore and caught plenty of large haddock and filled our cod limit. You can,t ask for better fishing. Our friends from Utah experiencing there first east coast fishing trip had a ball catching Blue shark ,stripe bass, bluefish, haddock, cod, redfish, pollock, mackerel, whiting, cusk, and a football. Doesn,t get any better- thank you folks.
