Just an epic day on the water for Dante & Nicole from California during their 4th & final day with us. Each of their first 3 days just got better & better and thankfully day 4 ended on a high fishing 38-40 miles Offshore of Marina Pez Vela The guys were delighted to catch their first ever Marlin, a Blue in the **hidden content**lb range. At one point we hooked FIVE YF Tuna at the same time, we were fighting three of them with the boat stationary & as Capt. Manuel was clearing the teasers the second Marlin of the day appeared on the teaser. A bit of quick thinking & within seconds we cast a Fly at the Marlin! It came up for a couple of looks at the Fly but would not commit, so we had to make do with the triple Tuna we were still fighting! Capt. Manuel says to me later in the trip, what the hell were we going to do with a triple Tuna on & a Marlin on the Fly….I actually hadn’t thought that far ahead but laughed & said we’d have dealt with it! ?? What a GREAT day on the water! Day 4 - Catch Report 1 for 2 Blue Marlin 2 Sailfish 10 Dorado 5 Tuna November Fishing is on Fire!! ???
