Trip Summary

January is always a challenging month. This year we have had a few extreme cold fronts so far and the water temps have ranged as much as 15 + degrees with this being said fishing is great when the waters warm more than to more than 60 degrees. We often will find a nice trout bite and some quality redfish . Whoever ehen it drops the bite will be slow. January is the month when the sheepshead will be spawning on or near shore rocks so the bite can be quite good if the wind is not blowing and get to them . I personally will be looking forward to the late February into march fishing when the water will warm and our big trout will move out to the shallow bottom rocky area's, these will be the larger trout and we have alot of fun twitching bait across 1 foot of water and watching the explosion as they hit and from there its game on! March books very fast so book your trips as soon as you can . Lets go catching. Capt David
