The Spring time fishing has sprung and the biggest blackfin tuna of the year have arrived. We have been hooking into jumbo blackens on nearly every trip right now. The best way to keep them from being eaten by sharks is to troll for them at higher speeds. While trolling for the tuna we have been catching plenty of king mackerel, sailfish, and the occasional wahoo as well. Our best luck has been trolling with planers and bonito strips for bait.
