Yellowtail biting…LIMITS!!!

Trip Summary

Limits of yellowtail today for pur 3/4 day offshore trip. We headed south today and found good amounts Yellowtail on kelp. We didnt see this much last year but we are looking very good this year! We were flylining with live sardine, and they were chewing on every bait that hit the water.

Group were fixed on catching halibut, and thats,exactly a 38” halibut on an anchovy did the trick. San diego bay has some great Halibut fushing.

Windy weather meant we had to change our plans and fish a little tighter to the bank. We headed to the Coronado Bridge. After pulling in a shark and dozens of bass we landed 2 halibut of which one was a keeper.
