We started off hot yesterday morning raising 2 doubles & 1 triple of Sailfish in the first hour of the day. We had released 3 Sails by 8.30am the guys were having fun & we were off to a great start. Things then slowed up and we had a tough few hours before we raised another double & a single Sailfish in the afternoon. Around mid day, we found a huge group of spotted dolphins with hundreds of birds diving & a really bait frenzy going on. Things looked perfect & we were confident of getting some good action but despite working it for a couple of hours we didn’t get a single bite. We caught a handful of huge bonitos which we thought were yellowfin tuna for a moment but it wasn’t to be unfortunately. Catch Report 3 Sailfish released, 5 lost & 2 missed 10 Sailfish raised in total Nice to get 3 more Sailfish tagged for the Gray FishTag Research program and huge thanks to our guests from Florida yeserday who were just fantastic company & great to have aboard ? We had a day off today & heading back Offshore tomorrow and Wednesday, wish us luck! ??
