Trip Summary

This past Saturday I took out the Cohen family. It was a slow start, but we found the fish, and had out boat limit of nice weakfish. We caught and released many more. They also got a nice keeper fluke to round out the trip.

We squeezed in a quick trip to Plum Gut yesterday during a short weather window—and it paid off big time! First drift, fish on. ? We landed a mix of slot, under, and oversized bass, keeping two perfect slot fish for the table and releasing plenty more. Non-stop action and an awesome way to kick off the spring daytime striper season! This bite usually stays hot through June—DM or call to lock in your date and get in on it!

I had the Cole family back again for a great trip in the Peconic Bay. We caught fish all throughout the trip, from sand sharks to weakfish with two nice keepers for the table. Everyone had a great time, and tasty fillets for the table were brought home.
