I had a special guest on the boat recently. My high school buddy Perry Walker brought Misti Smith Hill and his son Logan out for an afternoon on Lake Tawakoni. We left Tawakoni Marina at around 3pm and started catching some good fish at our second spot on RSR Lures jigging spoons. The fish were moving fast and were not at all interested in staying put. So after about 30 White Bass were in the box I decided to fish the structure we were on by trolling. This proved to be a lot more effective and within two hours the trio had their 75 fish limit. We were back at the dock and cleaning Fish by 6:30. My Rapala R12 Lithium Heavy Duty filet knife made quick work of fileting all the fish and there were two and half gallon bags of filets! We have boats available on Lake Grapevine, Lewisville, and Tawakoni.
