What was billed as “a Father’s Day gift to Dad” turned into a family competition! This family was just what the Ol Cap needed. While targeting smallmouth primarily, they happened into a single rock bass, several of the dreaded gobies and a multitude of hard fighting sheephead ! So hard fighting they actually wrapped the rod around the gunnel of the boat a couple times! Did I mention smallmouth, oh yeah they boated around 10 and lost a few at the boat! Very nice young ladies Natalie, sister Emily and dad Roger! Final count- Roger 22, Emily 19 and Natalie 11 - disclaimer Natalie had the biggest overall, most smallmouth and biggest smallmouth! Was a great day (1/2 day) with 52 fish boated! The jabs and banter between these three was the best part!!!
