Trip Summary

There ate fish chewing all over. Redfishing early has had a good top water bite. Lots of solid spanish nearshore to cast to feeding fish on the surface. Weather has been amazing and we have been having great trips catching mahi, grouper, amberjacks and black seabass.

With the ongoing hot weather, we had a break and some wind changes and the fish got fired up. We have been catching, big balck sea bass, grouper, cobia, redfish, sharks and the big Spanish Mackerel finally showed up. With the next week of NE winds we will fall back inshore for Redfish, speckled trout, flounder, sheepshead amd black drum. Dont let the ripped up ocean scare you. We have a whole world of inshore fishing in the Cape Fear area.
