Trip Summary

Started second trip at 3:30 pm. Intense heat and strong sw winds still a factor. Looked for fish on the west side of the river. Found shade jigged walleye and bass . Bite got a little better as the sun began to set. River temp 75 degrees

River temperature 39° winds east at 7 miles an hour. Water color near perfect brown trout hit plugs mid river steelhead hit beads and eggs in the upper sections of the river.

Heavy west winds, but the fishing was incredible. Water color was a chalky green, and the water temperature was 48.6 degrees. Plenty of steelhead, lake trout, and brown trout . Bead bite is all we needed to crush fish today.
