Trip Summary

Spanish mackerel have moved back in and weve had a steady supply of ribbonfish as well. A few blues around the inlet. Schools of big red drum have been around but you have to be in the right place at the rught time. Sharks have disappeared but theyll be back.

In the boat yard right now painting the bottom installing a new stern bearing and adding a new garmin side scan fish finder. Summer is coming even though it doesn’t seem like it right now on the outer banks if NC . All of my charter trips are Ocean side and I operate out of the closest marina to the ocean, Oregon Inlet Fishing Center. Only a 10 minute boat ride to be in the inlet entering the ocean.
