We drift fished with clams and squid and the fish kept coming over the rail. This family went went home with a cooler full of fresh fillets to last for several months. Keeper cod averaged about 28 inches. Nice sized pollock and haddock as well along with a hefty cusk. Only two dogfish along with small whiting, red fish, and mackerel. Greg and his son brought along their own St. Croix mojo jig conventional rods with their left handed Avet SX Raptor conventional reels. A very nice lightweight durable combo that had no problems handling a 12 foot blue shark that was fought until it tired out and then released alongside the boat.
