The bite was slow on baitfish due to the blue fish having moved in. A couple of mackerel were able to be live-lined as well as squid we caught fresh a week back and kept frozen. Alas a Striped Bass in the slot range took the squid. Jim successfully reeled it in and all was not so bad. The company of six people along with my son Paul and I made it a nice experience.
