I had the pleasure of taking this family out on Rodman Reservoir. Fishing is heating up as water temps are going down. It was 79 degrees Friday Oct. 6 and with the cold front moving in it should drop more. We started the morning in heavy fog with a steady bite for the first 21/2 hrs of a 4 hour trip then everything went into lockjaw syndrome. Best fish of the day was a solid 6lbs. Plan ahead for dates because bait always gets hard to reserve as anglers flock to Central Florida throughout the peak winter months.
