Trip Summary

They had me for two days and those two days we had a front pop up and brought strong southeast winds the fish day the winds were blowing around 18 with 25 gust. But we found a cove with cover and started right off the back catching keeper trout but they were all thrown back to swim another day. While still catching trout I positioned them if they still wanted to catch trout they could or throw the grass lines and catch redfish. Most the redfish we caught the first day was undersized. But still kept a few trout and sheepshead after a while. As for the second day i asked them if they wanted to go catch big reds and the only bad part is we had to cut across the lake where it would be calmer water waiting for us. But it was going to be choppy going and coming back. So after they decided we made our trek over there it was a bumpy ride but after we got to the spots the fish were waiting on us. Cast after cast they caught redfish, trout, and black drum. It paid off but with 15SSE winds on second day and hard out going tide made for sometimes 3ft swells just cutting back across lake. Overall great boxes for both days i dont have pic of first day but for the conditions they did great!
