As a fishing guide now and then, you get an almost perfect winter day with great clients who truly want to learn what you do to catch fish. Of course, all clients are awesome, but the combination of them and a great weather day in Texas is a challenge! Mitchell brought his son Lucas and frined Michael along with Michael's dad to learn all they could and make sure Lucas had a great time. They also were hoping for a few good fish dinners as well. As it turned out, they got all three! We moved a lot trying to find some decent sized schools of White Bass, and the first few spots looked good, but even with our Bobo's Thumper, the fish just would not stick around long. We caught some fish at almost every stop and even hooked a huge Buffalo Carp that was snagged in the tail! On the way in, I decided to try one last spot, and it was game on! Everyone hooked up with a huge Cedar Creek White Bass, and eleven were out in the box in no time. We had 30 fish to bring to the cleaning table. RSR Lures accounted for every fish caught, and that included three different species. Lucas caught the most, and the biggest fish. To top it all off, he made it look easy!
