On a windy day we were out with our South African guests for a good time on the water.We were expecting to come across some schools of dorados but they were not there.After about 4 hrs of trolling we came across a few birds and had a strike on the long shot but had no hookup. We turned around and came towards the birds again and saw that big blue marlin take the lure on the long rigger.We immediately saw that it was a nice fish as it was taking line off the reel at an incredible speed while it was jumping. Our angler managed to gain line quickly before there was none left on the reel.After an hour and half of hard battle we had just enough strength to pull the fish onboard. We went to a nearby fishing club to weigh the fish and the scales showed an amazing 820 lbs.It turned out to be the clubs biggest of the season.
