On a cloudy morning we went out looking for the schools of yellowfin but they were not yet feeding. We caught a couple of skipjacks and did some live baiting. The sharks moved in after about an hour and we were left with only half of a skipjack. We went on to troll the lures again and found some schools and caught some more skipjacks. Around 12:30 we spotted a school of big yellowfin that was feeding aggressively on the surface and at our first round in that school we caught an estimated 150 lbs pound fish.
