Brown Trout

Rainbow Trout (Steelhead)
Trip Summary
Trip Summary
Bitter is for bitter cold morning with north winds blowing right up the river at 15 to 20 mph. Fishing was tough with only one fish boated and a few lost.
The sweet was the afternoon. Sun came out and warmed things up. The wind died down, and the steelhead started feeding. The water temp was 37 degrees at 10 am and made it to 38.8 degrees by 3 pm. Eggs were the hot bait today with only a few fish taken on minnows. River was green and clearing from recent muddy conditions but was still cloudy.
