Trip Summary

Lake Ontario had big waves this morning due to an East Northeast wind, 4 to 5 footers kept us off the lake.We opted to stay in the river and fish for smallmouth bass. The bite was excellent, we caught fish everywhere.Water temperature 50.6 degrees fish were found between 25 and 35 feet of water. water clarity was near perfect

River temperature 39° winds east at 7 miles an hour. Water color near perfect brown trout hit plugs mid river steelhead hit beads and eggs in the upper sections of the river.

Heavy west winds, but the fishing was incredible. Water color was a chalky green, and the water temperature was 48.6 degrees. Plenty of steelhead, lake trout, and brown trout . Bead bite is all we needed to crush fish today.
