Trip Summary

Lake ontario at the Niagara bar was 52 degrees Fahrenheit at the surface. No more wolfpacks of fish. Marking the occasional nomadic fish. Plugs took only 3 trout today and stopped fishing by noon. Went back out at 6:30 pm for an evening bite, went 3 for 6 on walleye with a few bass mixed in. Fish were between 16 and 20 fow. The presentation was vertical jigging

River temperature 39° winds east at 7 miles an hour. Water color near perfect brown trout hit plugs mid river steelhead hit beads and eggs in the upper sections of the river.

Heavy west winds, but the fishing was incredible. Water color was a chalky green, and the water temperature was 48.6 degrees. Plenty of steelhead, lake trout, and brown trout . Bead bite is all we needed to crush fish today.
